Clash Of Clans Update fixes Unnecessary Notifications

Unfortunately, for iPhone Clash of Clans players, there’s no way to filter notifications from Clash of Clans without blocking all the notifications from the game. You can block Clash of Clans notifications by going to Settings —> Notifications —> Clash of Clans. If you choose to do this, you’re losing out on the notifications that tell you when your army is finally ready for battle, or when hero countdown timers are up (Although, hero regeneration time is finally included in the army overview window). Android users have more luck however. Using a combination of Tasker and Notification Listener, it’s possible to filter out the needless Clash of Clans notifications by using keywords to block the ones you don’t want. Clash of Clans players can download an optional update that fixes the excessive notifications from the game. The May update cited this problem in Clash of Clans, which caused a lot of trouble to the players as they have been seeing the same notifications multiple times in a short period of time.

This month, Supercell released a major update for its highly popular mobile game which introduced Friendly Challenge battles. However, many players started reporting several issues related to excessive notifications on their smartphones. Both Android and iOS users on various social media platforms, including Reddit, said that their phone receives the same notifications multiple times.
